General Questions

Why should I use Environ?

Environ skincare is a scientifically proven, vitamin A-based skincare system that helps to counteract the harmful effects of the environment, pollution, and stress to create a radiant, visibly improved skin.

Can I add Environ products to my current skincare brand of choice?

Environ products are carefully designed to work together as a complete skincare system. The formulations complement one another and work together towards creating beautiful, healthy-looking skin.

How do I know when I can "STEP-UP" my level of vitamin A?

Environ created the vitamin STEP-UP-SYSTEM™ to help skin become gradually more comfortable with increased levels of vitamin A and other ingredients. Always start on the lowest level and only STEP-UP to the next level when you have used the recommended number of bottles, and your skin feels comfortable. Please follow the advice of your trained Environ therapist if you are unsure.

Product & Ingredients Questions

Do Environ Vitamin A products photo-sensitise the skin?

No, however we would always recommend using a daily SPF for skin health.

What % of vitamin A is in your products?

Environ does not use percentages to measure vitamin A as vitamin A is measured in international units.

What are the possible side effects of using vitamin A?

Using too much vitamin A too soon can lead to a retinoid response in the skin, so we advise to start low and go slow, please consult with a trained Environ therapist.

What forms of vitamin A do you use?

Environ uses 5 forms of vitamin A: beta-carotene, retinyl palmitate, retinyl propionate, retinyl acetate and retinol.

Can I use Environ's vitamin A products while planning, pregnant or breastfeeding?

Environ believes that products containing vitamin A are safe during both pregnancy and lactation. During pregnancy, the skin’s response to products may temporarily change, therefore we advise you use the lower levels of vitamin A if the skin is sensitive.

Are there products in the range that I cannot use if pregnant?

The Tri-Complex Contouring Cream should be avoided while pregnant.

At what age can I start to use Environ?

From 6 months onwards.

Clinical research supports that as early as 6 months old, we begin to deplete our natural stores of Vitamin A.
This is why it’s so important to continually replenish the most appropriate forms of Vitamin A throughout life.

AVST Gel and Creme are safe and effective for anyone over 6 months.

How often should I be applying a vitamin A moisturiser?

Please refer to the “How to Use” section on the relevant product page.

What is the difference between the AVST range and the C-Quence range?

Both the Skin EssentiA and Youth EssentiA range of products serve as an easy-to-use complete skincare programme that help to create beautiful skin. The Youth EssentiA range has higher doses of vitamin A & C. A wider brigade of antioxidants for antioxidant protection, more peptides to slow the ageing process and advanced moisturising systems to plump and rehydrate the skin.

How can I check to see if a particular ingredient is in a product?

Please refer to the “Full Ingredients” section on the relevant product page.

Are your products suitable for vegans?

Environ products has not been specifically formulated for vegans. Please refer to the “Full Ingredient” listing on the relevant product page.

Do you test on animals?

No, Environ does not test on animals.

What colostrum do you use in Environ Vita-Enriched Colostrum?

Bovine colostrum.

Bovine colostrum comes from cows and is the most widely used in supplements and skincare because it is abundant, relatively easy to collect, and has a well-studied safety and efficacy profile for human use. Other animal colostrums (goat, sheep) exist but are used far less commonly; human colostrum is not used commercially for obvious ethical and practical reasons.

Composition: All colostrum contains immune factors (antibodies like IgG, IgA), growth factors (such as EGF, IGF, FGF), cytokines, and nutrients, but the exact levels vary by species. Bovine colostrum is particularly rich in IgG and growth factors that support tissue repair, collagen production, and barrier function. “Colostrum-like” plant or marine ingredients may mimic certain functions (antioxidant, barrier support, anti-inflammatory) but does not contain true mammalian immunoglobulins or the same spectrum of growth factors, so their biological activity is different. Skin and body effects: Bovine colostrum has evidence for: Supporting collagen synthesis, elasticity, and firmness. Improving barrier function and reducing transepidermal water loss, redness, and inflammation. Helping repair photoaging damage and supporting more even tone and smoother texture.

Other animal colostrums would theoretically offer similar categories of benefits but are far less researched and standardized, so dosing, potency, and consistency are less clear.

Do any of your products contain nuts?

If you have an allergy or intolerance to any ingredient including nuts, we will always advise you to check the “Full Ingredient” listing on the relevant product page.

My skin feels dry after using a product, what should I do?

Some initial dryness may occur as the skin adapts to vitamin A, this is considered a normal response.

I am experiencing blemishes since I have started using the products, what should I do?

A slight breakout may occur as the skin adapts to vitamin A, this is considered a normal response.
